Sorcerer is a decent option, that’s why we put it in the middle. It's not going to be horrible, you've got teleport, you've got the barriers for toughness. If you're playing on Hardcore, it would actually probably be an S for starting out because you get the cheat death and you can stay safe. Rogue is going to be a little bit of a hot take but Rogue could be the best Diablo IV season 1 starter, so we put Rogue above Barbarian. Rogue is powerful sooner but the Barbarian's going to be a little bit easier to play and it's going to out scale the Rogue eventually at level 80-85 somewhere in there in the 80. So it's tough, depends on how you want to view it. The Whirlwind is probably going to be able to farm faster and easier, so we'll probably squeeze Rogue right there in between the Barb and the Druid but all three of them are very solid season starting classes, the Rogue is going to be by far the D4 best season 1 class in the 1 to 70 process, but the Barb and the Druid will eventually outscale the Rogue a little bit when you get up to around 85 to 90. The Druid is going to be a little bit similar to Barbarian. Honestly, Druid is a really good class in the end game and it can really push up content very well. It is a little bit gear reliant because you need some good drops to get that are really going to help you spike up and get things rolling. Also, it can be even a little bit more clunky than Barbarian when you're talking about that 1 to 60 or 70 initial leveling process, so we can't quite go S for Druid even though it might be S overall. It's honestly a similar story to the Barbarian. It's going to be a little bit more clunky though so we would put it behind the Barbarian for this Diablo IV Season Starter tier list, but it's definitely solidly in the A tier still and Druid is going to be a great pick to start off off with in season 1. Just because the Whirlwind is so consistent and it's so great at running through and speed farming content. Barbarian is either the number one or number two best Diablo 4 season 1 class in terms of popularity or people picking their first class. But it is definitely going to be very solid and it's probably going to be one of the better season starters. The Barbarian is going to be a really solid Diablo IV season starter. You can't go wrong with Whirlwind since it has a few different styles, it's super consistent. Then you've also got the Hoda style which can help you push up a little bit higher and be a little bit tanky, so you would probably start out with the Whirlwind variant, get a speed farming build rolling and then crush through and be able to progress pretty fast. Now the Barbarian is a little bit clunky during the initial leveling process so we can't quite go S for this D4 season 1 tier list. In this Diablo 4 season 1 tier list, we talk about the best season starter as the first class. For Diablo 3 a lot of people thought it was the Demon Hunter to run around with multi-shot, mass AOE clearing and getting your Paragon up to snuff as fast as possible and then branching out from there. Like in Diablo 2, it's the Sorceress so you can teleport around and zoom around and get your account up and running. You know how it goes with all these games when they do a ladder reset or a season reset, you've got those best first class. By choosing the best D4 season starter that aligns with your preferred playstyle, you can quickly grasp the basics of combat, skills, and character progression.
